Growing up my parents taught me the importance of civic engagement and understanding the issues facing our neighbors and community.  I’ve continued that lesson into my current work as a community engaged researcher where I bring community members and partners together to solve complex problems and improve public health outcomes.

This practice requires collective listening, gathering evidence and data and seeking broad input from stakeholders – these are the same skills and ethics that I’ll bring to the job of representing the constituents of House District 32 in the Indiana General Assembly.  Those community building experiences coupled with my sincere commitment to servant leadership form the foundation of this campaign.

As our state continues to navigate the pandemic and economic recovery, it’s imperative that our elected officials put people first.  As your state representative, I will bring thoughtful and honest leadership to this position and I will put people over special interests.  Working together, we can solve today’s challenges and build a stronger future for all Hoosiers.
